This is a short manga that I drew using katakana words. I've used ウーンto express the sound for "hmm" and ウウウウ to express the sound effect of a person crying. In both instances, I used katakana for onomatopoeia.
This is just a draft for now, but I hope to expand on the story and add more katakana usages for the final version.

This work is interesting. But you can improve this by adding more elements, say how did the man solve the problem after he is rejected. Also, it is usual to add a small tsu when someone make a vary long sound (like ウウウウウウウウウウウウウッ the tsu is the small tsu). Also, it is helpful to add katakana other than sounds.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great start! If you wanted to add more katakana, you could mention the names of the characters in your story and maybe the names of the movie and movie theatre they would go to.
